Image for the poem Angel

Angel's Flight

She offers advice about unguents
Various oils and a scented balm
Warmed to chamber temperature
Then poured on her sacred skin

He is not content to watch her shine
An angel meant to be caressed
His hands ordained to shape her
Reveal the nature of his need

She slides herself along his length
Coaxes her sinner deep inside
Her folds offer their embrace
As she swears to never let him go

He wakes up to some alarm
His solitude not to be denied
A tear shed where his angel slept
Her words are sworn, but never kept.
