porcelain faith
Huddled on the floor I silently weep
and in despair gaze
Into the distance washed blank :
Solitary in the lonely blackness,
A sullen man sleeps
Yet still he lights the sky,
A resemblance of my faith
A dull porcelain
Yet still holding value in prosperity.
For years I have mistreated him so,
Lost myself in the remnants of broken promises
And lived a lie of an extinguished flame.
Once a weary eye has sighted
a bargain for it's worth ;
That eye should rightfully stay affixed.
