Eye Of The Pirate, Heart Of A Thief
Your hull is breached by pirates at sea
Robbing your treasure and slipping away
Faces behind masks and eyes you can't see
Denying your pleasure, you wish they would stay
For in spite of the pain, something inside
Makes the wish to set sail into the waves
Pass through your lips like questions unasked
The answers are found in watery graves
For the waves would overcome us both
Out of control and going down fast
There is barely time to take a breath
Wondering how long our air supply will last
If only I could be there with you
No questions would ever cross our lips
We would already have the answers
Setting the courses for two colliding ships
Robbing your treasure and slipping away
Faces behind masks and eyes you can't see
Denying your pleasure, you wish they would stay
For in spite of the pain, something inside
Makes the wish to set sail into the waves
Pass through your lips like questions unasked
The answers are found in watery graves
For the waves would overcome us both
Out of control and going down fast
There is barely time to take a breath
Wondering how long our air supply will last
If only I could be there with you
No questions would ever cross our lips
We would already have the answers
Setting the courses for two colliding ships
