i could have lost him my life left shattered
he got glass in his hands cut into him
shards in his right lag it makes me cry
because a panic attack hit well he was driving

i could have lost my lover
my life gone in just one breath
my dear husband he could have been lost
i thank the gods and lucifer he i still with me
my life it could have been wiped away all with one sweep

with that i will weep and keep him close to me
i couldn't go on if he was gone
i would blow away in the wind forgotten that i ever lived
i am just greatful he is okay and able to be in my arms today
