Saints And Special Messengers
When saints and special messengers visit the earth
you might not hear very much from them
for not being concerned with publicity
they merely do their work and keep moving
asking for rational proof is a bit like
science looking for honey up a gum-tree
because those who have ears to hear will hear anyway
when their visit is over
they leave as quietly as they came
having scattered seeds that add life to many hearts
meanwhile science is a world apart and
proof will be found in who pays the piper
and how much they each relate to the square of Light.

This is beautifully true, Josh. Angels are among us...and many times we simply step over them on the street. They are quietly resolved to the shadows while sowing the light.
I love science because it seeks the truth and refuses to allow you to become close-minded. I believe religion and science are the yin and yang of balance within their respective truths.
I really enjoyed this work.

Hi Ahavati, Thanks again for taking the time to read and comment. Like Rupert Sheldrake, I am a great fan of science as long as it sticks to its original remit. Unfortunately, like politics, the "funding process" has corrupted it (as an institution). It has become 'scientism' whereby anyone who dares question 'science's pronouncements' is deemed 'uneducated'. But I have faith that the rigour of the true scientific method will eventually prevail and that science and spirituality will meet at the same conclusion.

Josh this is wonderful. I often find I have to defend my faith to science and then my science to the faithful. Why can I not have both. I agree with Ahavati it is a yin and yang. Brilliant write.

hi Mel, thanks you for the comment. See my reply to Ahavati above for the gist of what I would say regarding science. The yin and yang, the masculine and feminine forces are vital to remain distinct, yet forever in symbiosis to move forward evolution in humanity's consciousness..

Cancer - a tough one. There is a theory that all progressive diseases stem from a 'dis-ease of mind' (i.e.: conflicted minds and living who we are not) - perhaps a western dis-ease of several centuries, not easily 'cured'. (I'm not committing myself on this idea). Thanks for the favourable comment.
