Isolated Nonoccurrence
Where are you life?
You carry lamps in the darkness to illuminate your way,
but what if it's not darkness but nonexistence?
No flame can create a scenery off the face of nothingness.
I feel in my heart I have some untapped potential,
like my genes are dematerializing from lack of splicing and copying and creating more.
I am completely alone.
Completely.
Alone.
And somehow others bring the best out of you.
If not just to reflect so you can groom yourself.
Where are you life?
How can I know I am alive without someone for a mirror?
But my last glimpse into a mirror made me crack it against my head.
