Intangible Existence (Unfolding)
Slowly; uncannily
I see it unfold
and then,
I see it give rise
to itself.
It hovers and spins,
It twirls, entwining
the space it inhabits.
Watching, it holds
To itself what it
knows, to a circle
lets go,
to meaning and you,
from the earth
to and fro.
Are we here,
do we know?
Tell me when I
reach you;
only then will I know
I exist.
I see it unfold
and then,
I see it give rise
to itself.
It hovers and spins,
It twirls, entwining
the space it inhabits.
Watching, it holds
To itself what it
knows, to a circle
lets go,
to meaning and you,
from the earth
to and fro.
Are we here,
do we know?
Tell me when I
reach you;
only then will I know
I exist.

I rarely read a poem a dozen times upon discovery.

I wrote this a long time ago and found it in an old notebook, I had written it after spending an afternoon at a park and bumping into an old friend.... I'm glad it's inspiring, thank you for reading and the positive comments...

I'm on a bench at a busstop,
come & wait with me, for a bus that never comes;
what I'm saying is, your poem is extraordinary...

I spent the night on a bus stop bench once on a layover, and when morning came I felt extraordinary, I suppose I was envisioning this moment, except the bus came..... Thank you for the enlightening reconnaisance and great compliment.....

This was amazing poetry;
I read, re-read and thoroughly
enjoyed it each time.
'Only then will I know I exist.'
- Beautiful, glad you decided to post...

That last stanza will linger... breathtakingly beautiful, as is the rest of your poem!
If only I had room in my reading list... it will come...
(I will comment on your other poem, but I need some time for that)
