Eagle's Freefall

 

You laughed at me in the city on your birthday, I still think the liscence plate on the taxi said hurricane. Before I could even say anything you jumped right in that puddle soaked  with me whispering when eagles freefall the day is saved.

It wasn't until our second mortgage that we lost our jobs, our company went bottoms up because the dollar was corrupt. We sold all assets trying to recover, we did all we could do and just for a moment I saw you give up feeling defeated and so small. Right there I wrapped myself around you and whispered I'm honored to freefall with you.
