A Moment To Hide
I'm thinking of drinking and drowning my sorrows,
To borrow tomorrow for all that it's got.
To sieve and get rid of what lives in my head,
And instead put to bed all the dread of bad thought.
I'll tackle my battles with the strength that I'll find,
When my mind soon unwinds from the knots that I've tied.
Soon I'll tune to the sound of what loudly surrounds,
But for now I'll allow for a moment to hide.
