Don't Say That God Never Lets Us Down

People say things like "God has always been faithful to me.
He has never let me down and never will !!!"

Well I beg to differ.
And I'm in good company.
For CHRIST Himself declares that God
has LET HIM DOWN !!!
For Christ says with a LOUD voice,
"My God,why have You FORSAKEN Me?"
(Matthew 27.46).
To "forsake" someone means to abandon them, or to let them down.
So we have the precedent of Christ's words
on the Cross to guide us !!
Yes, its ok for us to complain when God disappoints us.
For Christ did it before us.
But we are to forgive God of course.
He forgives us, we forgive Him in return.
Its the least we can do.
