A New Improved Interpretation of the Cross

Isaiah tells us Christ "bore the sins of many".
Like John the Baptist before him,
Paul the apostle says Christ takes away the sins of the world.

But Psalms 69, verse 9, introduces a whole new facet
of the multifaceted "diamond" that is the Cross of Christ.
"The reproaches of those that reproach [God] have fallen on Me."
Meaning that God's "sins" (in the eyes of
people who feel wronged by Him),
"Have fallen on [Christ]".
Im not saying God has actually sinned.Of course.
Just that it is wrong for Him to let evil people commit crimes - when He COULD EASILY INTERVENE.
If a cop sees a store robbery in process,
we expect him to step in, take charge.
God being more righteous should be even more heroic than the human cop.
And He is Heroic sometimes - as in the case of the righteous rabbi in that movie,
"Schindler's List."   (true story).
The prison camp warden pulls out his pistol and tries to shoot him.
But the gun jams repeatedly.
He points the pistol away from the rabbi.
The gun fires normally.
But each time he points it at the rabbi,
it jams.
This is none other than God stepping in,
intervening in the affairs of men.
This shows what God could do more of, even, dare I say it, ALL THE TIME.
When He doesnt intervene, we may hold a
grudge against Him - even though He is God.
Christ went to the Cross to take that grudge, those millions of hateful grudges AWAY.
Christ's blood, each drop He shed = the Father paying for all the times He lets us down.
And so the omission of righteous action by God is removed -- GLORY TO GOD !!!
So Christ doesnt just save the world --
He SAVES GOD THE FATHER--ALLELUJAH !!!
God couldn't be God if He committed sin.
And without God the Father, THE UNIVERSE WOULD SURELY COLLAPSE !!
Yes, besides taking on the sins of the world,
Christ on the Cross saved God the Father and the whole universe!!!
WOW --- WHAT A SAVIOR WE HAVE IN CHRIST !!!

PS: in case you are thinking, What about the times BEFORE the Cross.
All those times when God did things like order Moses to slaughter everybody,
Not just the enemy soldiers,
But the noncombatants as well.
Ive got the answer for you !!!
It says Christ was crucified "before the foundation of the world" (1st Peter 1.20;Revelation 13.8).
In other words, God accounts the Cross,
The payment, as coming before anything else !!!
So God protects Himself against sin in this way.
SIN THAT IS PAID FOR IS NO SIN AT ALL.

 more later.
