The sight of poor Grandmothers
With graying hairs
and wrinkled skin
The sight of poor Grandmothers
With sunken eyes
And parched lips
The sight of poor Grandmothers
With soot-filled nails
And cracked soles
The sight of poor Grandmothers
With teary eyes on road sides
The sight of poor Grandmothers
Impoverished and alone
Makes my heart bleed
And leave me wondering
Where are their children?
