Being
Being young and living is a lifelong goal for some,
But dying before living is a tragedy when young.
Being rich and giving can fill you full of wealth,
But being poor and getting may bring you better health.
Being free from bondage can make your spirit soar,
But being free of spirit is poison to the core.
Being nice and pleasant will make you feel contentment,
But being nice and bitter will fill you with resentment.
Being here and present will make you feel alive,
But being rushed and worried will make you feel deprived.
Being old and dying will keep you feeling grave,
But being old and living is a challenge for the brave.
