How am I supposed to love myself
When my reflection in the mirror
Is stained with fingerprints of
People who didn't even care to learn my
Favorite color.
How am I supposed to love myself
With blood dripping from
Open wounds from every goodbye
That was carved out of my arms.
How am Isupposed to love myself
When I have no heart left
Because I gave it away to every person
In hopes they would stay

When no one else wanted to.

What ??!! quit fiddling with my emotional tandems! no one
