I'm not angry
no, I'm not angry with you
but if you can't love me right
then don't love me at all
you told me many things
are they lies? Is it in my head?
because the pieces don't fit
like that tight dress you wear
I'm not crazy
the distance is clear
the test of time can make us
or we can burn It all down
just open your mouth
say what you need to say
yeah, I would be hurt
but eventually I'll be ok
I'm not mad
I just need to know some things
what is it I'm saying right?
what is it I'm doing wrong?
ease my mind if it's untrue
give me something to believe
because it feels like we're sinking
down into muddy water
I'm not broken
no, but I am disappointed
I'm right here pleading
yet, you act like your miles away
beyond these blame games
don't need to see you naked
if you can't bare me with truth
if it frees me, then it will free you

It was a situation I had been in before and wanted to write about it.

It's very relatable
Those that are most open and honest tend to have longevity in loving relationship
Open honest trust needs nurturing over time
Needs time to grow
Knowing the right time to harvest and invest in love isn't always known
Sometimes ya just gotta be forward thinking and determined to acheive regardless

Very well said Rose 😁 It's not always easy to tell someone you want to move on, but it needs to be done if you truly respect the person.

It's funny how sometimes old memories and situations can bubble up on us and we feel the need to purge them, vent or express our feelings on them in some fashion. Solid write here
