Suicide Epidemic: Short Poems
They found another body
another dead teen cold to touch
no one does anything
There is panic now
They die by their own hand now
What do we do now...
One found in the park,
Gay son shot by his fathers gun
His father's hatred
The teacher dressed in black
He walked onto the highway
Everyone cried for him
She was raped by them
No one believed her, the liar
Bathtub of blood, hers
He was not a she
His parents never understood that
The pills were bright blue
Her family never came
They already had all her money
Sad, she pulled the plug
She loved her so much
Sent away to be fixed, failed
Without her she died
The pain was too much
He couldn't stop the memories
Purple heart lost in chest
another dead teen cold to touch
no one does anything
There is panic now
They die by their own hand now
What do we do now...
One found in the park,
Gay son shot by his fathers gun
His father's hatred
The teacher dressed in black
He walked onto the highway
Everyone cried for him
She was raped by them
No one believed her, the liar
Bathtub of blood, hers
He was not a she
His parents never understood that
The pills were bright blue
Her family never came
They already had all her money
Sad, she pulled the plug
She loved her so much
Sent away to be fixed, failed
Without her she died
The pain was too much
He couldn't stop the memories
Purple heart lost in chest
