Divide
Translucent body,
untouched by society.
At the peak of severity,
my heart called out.
There was an answer,
I ran searching for the source.
Approaching silently,
would not want to pass this by.
Silver tongue unstoppable,
her wall impregnable.
Two forces at work trying,
to make ends meet.
Roots firmly planted,
deep inside my heart.
Divided forever and ever,
by the choices we have made.
Together we could stand so high,
you and I.
Now I stand between,
hoping for a glimpse.
On the otherside,
of the divide.
untouched by society.
At the peak of severity,
my heart called out.
There was an answer,
I ran searching for the source.
Approaching silently,
would not want to pass this by.
Silver tongue unstoppable,
her wall impregnable.
Two forces at work trying,
to make ends meet.
Roots firmly planted,
deep inside my heart.
Divided forever and ever,
by the choices we have made.
Together we could stand so high,
you and I.
Now I stand between,
hoping for a glimpse.
On the otherside,
of the divide.
