Very very well composed and conveyed Muses! Loved the way the expression evokes the emotions in the reader

There's something deeper here I've been trying to decipher since initially reading this.  The tiger-striped skin is throwing me. The contrast of the satin/lace against the tiger-stripes takes it to another level, since without such a reference the point of imperfections is made apparent by the grooves and tightening of the fabric's stretch over the plumper parts.

I simply can't reconcile tiger-stripes in my visual capacity of reasoning. It adds that layer of ambiguity I enjoy pondering over.

Yeah, I was concerned whether tiger-stripes would throw readers. Some people call stretch marks "tiger-stripes".   This poem is really about a former beauty getting older, evidenced by yellowing lace. I felt maybe there was more in this poem to say, but I worried about over-doing it

That makes sense. I got the gist of the poem just fine. Well, except for the yellow lace, as I've seen lingerie with those colors. I just read 'yellowed' vs 'yellow' (that I misread earlier). That drives the point further.  Anyway, I couldn't reconcile tiger-stripes, as I've never heard stretch marks called that before.   Learn something new every day.
