SILBURY
Your hand in my pocket
My hand in yours
For warmth
For not a penny between us
And if this bench was our bed
My arm for your head
Bare bones for our chicken soup
We'd troupe from our coup
Melt frost with our mouths
And make love
On Silbury chalk
My hand in yours
For warmth
For not a penny between us
And if this bench was our bed
My arm for your head
Bare bones for our chicken soup
We'd troupe from our coup
Melt frost with our mouths
And make love
On Silbury chalk

I do wish to write like this someday. Your alliteration is great and your lines sing. Great writing.

I have to confess a little: this
truly made cry, I felt it ..I literally
felt it
as always but this one lend'd
me a scent and warmth, the
air show'd her face and smile to
me,,.. the bench encompassed
me while I sat beside these two
and I watch with pleasure, with
great deep aches of happiness..
this is so so touching and beautiful!

The exceptional beauty of true, (unconditional) love...needing nothing but itself....a rare treasure, indeed...
Whale, mo Chara.....while reading, this poem slipped softly inside me...hugged my heart and soothed my soul...
Your vivid words paint such a memorable picture....leaving your readers a bit envious of, and undoubtedly wishing for--just such a unique relationship.
Thank you for sharing !
