LOLLIPOP LADY

LOLLIPOP LADY

There’s a house with beautiful rose tree on a winding country lane
Where the lollipop lady lives her life though arthritis gives her pain

A beautiful passionate lady with a heart so big and strong
And the children when they see her start to sing a little song

Lollipop lady lollipop lady…
Keeps us safe from harm
Lollipop lady lollipop lady…
Lollipop on your arm

It’s a walk for fifteen minutes from the house to where she stands
At the pavement waiting patiently for the children holding hands

As she signals to the traffic that here is where they stop
She lets the children cross by holding up her lollipop

Lollipop lady lollipop lady…
Watch us pass you by
Lollipop lady lollipop lady…
Tears are in your eyes

When days at school are finished and the children need to cross
They wait for the lollipop lady co’s they know that she’s the boss

All hold hands together and the traffic I will stop
And I’ll make sure your safe once more as I raise my lollipop
