The Love of Your Life
Forever, love.
That tempting treat
Laid blissfully upon the heart
When eyes meet and smile…
It’s a lie, for me. Don’t be fooled
By my smirky grin and lip biting mouth.
This tongue cuts as well
As teases the soul to cough you up
At my cold feet.
Chasing hungry rabbits in a field of foxes,
I will call your name and you will come
Willingly.
I am dangerous, I want your undying devotion
And offer little more than a 10 minute
Heart job in your backseat of deepest dreams.
But dare to play the game
And you will leave with scars
That will make you grin for years to come.
