ELEGY OF THE COUNTESS
Beyond gloom-kingdomed vale
Wandering past gates of nihil, weathered bare
Through sclera obfuscated pale
Some, despondent of heart, could see her there
Temptress of the fog, cast your spell on me
Like morning stars, her fire sparks
Angels weep of tainted dreams, where she became
My reverie
Dark mistress, nachtmystic syncopations
My elegy brought your Hell to capriciousness
To this elegant dance of attrition, we enfold
In blackest wings of Beelzebub
No simulacrum would curtail wickedness
Stitched together, marionette of dark intent
And in the pastel galleries, her lingered eminence
In the shadows of our sun, her likeness was bled
The thunder of her veins, wrought my hidden chain
A grave dusk, impaled like Tepes with melancholia
Your sacrifice to me, a séance malefic came
Statued there like Ophiuchus, back into the crypt
‘And with this blood of my kin, I suffer’d hands of thousands
Ameliorate now, their martyred flesh, to suffer
Avail though me, that I may speaketh of snake-tongue
My most unholy prince of nightmarish realms’
Dark mistress, nachtmystic syncopations
My elegy brought your Hell to capriciousness
To this elegant dance of attrition, we enfold
In blackest wings of Beelzebub
Feral
A ravenousness assured through wolves teeth
Enamoured by ensanguination
Drenched in the stains of life for her reprieve
Tongue of Satan upon her seraphim smile
Bent at the knee to smell the chasm of death
Cascading down from scarlet spheres
So trepidation bestowed for ivory chaste
So the ebony lust sought to pursue and abuse
Her pearlescence in abandoned courtyards
A labyrinthine and opiate imbibed exhalation
Thaumaturgy in the tapestried threshold of sin
Inebriety, we touch what lepers are bereaved
There is but a void in the landscape of her eyes
And mine were entwined, like scorching of pitch
My fingers through her crown of thorns
Scarred eyes, by her dread radiance
There, in the infancy of dusk
We meld
She takes my hand, we walk into infinity
