I`m just a spare

I was supposed to be playing a guitar in front of screaming fans,
catching passes in Super Bowls,
staring in movies,…..
Anything but this shit!

Realizing I`m just an ordinary mortal is more than I can bare.
I guess it`s true,…..
I`m just a spare
But I was supposed to be a millionaire,
not living in despair,
sitting at home on Saturday nights playing solitaire.

All my nobodiness really pisses me off!
This is not the life I chose.
We can only play the hand that’s dealt us I suppose,
but with the hand I was dealt, I got fucked!
Yeah, I`m just a schmuck,
who spends his days driving a delivery truck!
