dont go into the woods
all hail 80s horror

hatchets, razor fingers
and some masks too
those asshole clowns
wouldnt know what to do
better lock the front door

The 80s were a kind of golden decade for horror flicks, with Wes Craven, John Carpenter and George Romero doing some of their best work, and the slasher movies hit their stride. Not all is currently lost though. Check out Rob Zombie's versions of "Halloween". Michael never looked better, if not entirely original. Some of the foreign horror films are remarkable, taking chances without as much concern for remakes and sequels. There's still far too much worthless tripe out there though. "Twilight"'s just good for a few yawns. Fine job Lady. Your taste in horror is impeccable.

Oh my lord the slashers to this day won't allow me rest. I suffer from terrible nightmares and Freddie, well let's just say, freaks me out. What pisses me off is when they tried ruining Jason by putting him in outer space among other absurdities. Ahh Mysterious, those were the days. loved the stroll down memory lane. Mad respect and much love,
