Welcome Back
You're back, to what you're used to.
to treating your women like trash,
speaking to them in such tones.
Using them.
The ones that love you,
that need you.
You're back to what you did.
To the hitting and abusing.
Verbally, physically, mentally.
You're back.
The anger flashing like lightening;
the yelling coming like thunder,
the blows like hail and rain; swift and blinding.
Hitting back only makes it worse;
Throwing myself on your mercy.
There is none.
My memory hazy for your good, our good.
All I know and remember is the abuse.
to treating your women like trash,
speaking to them in such tones.
Using them.
The ones that love you,
that need you.
You're back to what you did.
To the hitting and abusing.
Verbally, physically, mentally.
You're back.
The anger flashing like lightening;
the yelling coming like thunder,
the blows like hail and rain; swift and blinding.
Hitting back only makes it worse;
Throwing myself on your mercy.
There is none.
My memory hazy for your good, our good.
All I know and remember is the abuse.
