I Loved Us
Memories of her scatter throughout my brain,
Like leaves blowing in the wind,
At every streetlight,
With each passing car I hope,
Just to see her face again,
I can't play certain songs,
I can't eat chocolate ice cream,
I let my walls down,
Told her my hopes and dreams,
She destroyed me,
But that meant it was real,
Even if time was wasted,
If everything came to an end,
I wouldn't have changed a thing,
I loved US.
Like leaves blowing in the wind,
At every streetlight,
With each passing car I hope,
Just to see her face again,
I can't play certain songs,
I can't eat chocolate ice cream,
I let my walls down,
Told her my hopes and dreams,
She destroyed me,
But that meant it was real,
Even if time was wasted,
If everything came to an end,
I wouldn't have changed a thing,
I loved US.
