Sleepless Eye
Sleepless eye so big and bright
Way up there in the darkened sky
Watching all that wage the fight
Seeing all the pain they have acquired
That leaves them balancing on the brink
Slowly and agonizingly they expire
Sleepless eye doesn't blink

I very much like the concept of this, in that it's difficult to win the battle against something that never blinks.

Gives me a new perspective on the Moon. Makes me want to stay home on clear nights and pray for clouds... on the other hand, there is often romance in the moonlight, just don't let me catch it peeking through my bedroom window!
