sour song
Sweet melody turned a sour song
Can't tell exactly what went wrong
Too clueless to even attempt the math
Why she chose not to travel my path
Blinded I held a view so strong
Thinking to me she did belong
Alas it was an empty fact
And therein lies my broken heart
Thus the solace for which I longed
To fraternize and feel among
Is left unfulfilled on her part
And things has indeed fallen apart
Deep in despair now I'm plunged
Counting my teeth with my tongue
Trying to console my pain-filled heart
But my hurts just won't depart
Sweet melody turned a sour song
Can't tell exactly what went wrong
Too clueless to even attempt the math
Why she chose not to travel my path
Can't tell exactly what went wrong
Too clueless to even attempt the math
Why she chose not to travel my path
Blinded I held a view so strong
Thinking to me she did belong
Alas it was an empty fact
And therein lies my broken heart
Thus the solace for which I longed
To fraternize and feel among
Is left unfulfilled on her part
And things has indeed fallen apart
Deep in despair now I'm plunged
Counting my teeth with my tongue
Trying to console my pain-filled heart
But my hurts just won't depart
Sweet melody turned a sour song
Can't tell exactly what went wrong
Too clueless to even attempt the math
Why she chose not to travel my path
