Haunt me
With your purgatory
Hours seem like days
Months seem like years
Time, it seems, is so torturous
With the crows so murderous
Pecking on my fears
Absinthe with the devil
Is like feeding the wolves
So feral and vile
Absinthe with the devil
Is like facing the walls
Of carnage, so vile
Bleeding from my hands
Smashed in the glass
A fight,that seems, so damn fruitless
Just to fall to emptiness
Where all hopes are dashed
Absinthe with the devil

Pour the emerald demon into crystal goblets
For the sake of insanity top me off like a good bitch
I can hear them giggling there just behind the deepest shadow
The ground is shaking, the storm is coming,
Get me through this fucking stanza
I’m facing the failures of such a wasted life
Words are screaming in my head demanding for their release
So many voiceless faces of the wronged and the ones still to come
Blood is on my hands, who is really damned
