STASIS GLOOM
You held gently
To voices in your head
But don't tempt me
With what I might regret
You're yearning to
Erase the fears inside
Or we could do
Nothing but watch stars dive
And you still speak of things to savor
But the world is unforgiving
Don't think that you owe me a favor
Be glad your heart is still beating
When confronted
They all disappeared
And all you wanted
Was to hold them dear
Could this all be life
Lived dream after dream
While the blood dried
Between the seams

Your misery speaks
I can see it
Painted on your irides
I cherish their
Cerise gaze
Unkempt hair of raven shine
When will I reclaim my mind
So let me go before you can't
For this was never planned

If you blush one more time
Leave me here
As I'm meant to be
Ebb and flow
I'll see you again
