Psychological Castration

My mind is in a state of elevation and maturation
Ridding myself of the lies of Fox 5 like menstruation
Not allowing anymore penetration of the fabrication
Of why folks get choked before making it to the station
The stories are amazing and frustrating here in this nation
The unarmed are getting harmed as cops get paid vacations
While we simultaneously deal with the erection of a comical election
It's not funny honey seeing how everyone keeps trying their deflection
Away from the issues causing frequent uses of tissues from depression
Constantly seeing videos of them killing folks is like psychological castration

I've stopped watching the news cause it gives me the blues
Effecting me in ways everyday no matter what I attempt to do
I try to ignore the voices on their courses but it is of little use
Can't just put my head in the sand cause I'm a man trying to transfuse
My views into you as I valiantly choose to ignore those whom ridicule
The state of the union is politically despicable but I'm trying to hip you
To the lies being displayed and said to your ears and eyes on the boob tube
Feeling like we've reverted back to '64 with the racial tensions in full bloom
Go ahead and ignore what's happening at your front door if that's what you choose
Being afraid to shake up the make up or wake up until the first bomb goes boom
