he only calls me NASTY NAMES
so it doesn't matter what the KIDS hear
It's not domestic violence, it's just
his silly MIND GAMES

HE NOW SHOVES & SLAPS ME

it's not really domestic violence
he said HE'S SORRY, it only
happened cause he was PISSED

He PUNCHED me and HELD ME DOWN
my face a BLOODY MESS
I think it's DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
he never said he's sorry, he couldn't
CARE LESS

maybe I should tell someone
I'm worried about my kids and the
VIOLENCE that they've seen
Suddenly his HANDS around my neck
the lights fade out the last thing I hear
Is all my babies SCREAM

A woman is not a man's property
We are not objects to be owned
CONTROL, JEALOUSY or POSSESSION
is NOT LOVE but domestic violence
and we are POWERLESS IF CONDONED
