 The clothes she wears does not make her
nor does the friends she keeps
Her strength comes from within
Her faith blind as she leaps
Pray for the wild at heart kept in cages
Who cannot be tamed and moulded like a glove
A gypsy soul, kindred spirit wandering free
Yearning to be loved;
A reminder of a prison.. Ink upon her skin
She is a survivor evolving, who learnt
to swim against the current
She will never give up
She will never give in
Striving to be happy
spreading kindness as she goes
Ducking and weaving, with a constant grin
at life's unrelenting lethal blows

Like the Phoenix rising from the ashes
She will smile and spread unconditional love
