Paradise Waiting
There is a song in my heart
and a bomb
hidden in my turban
Today I shall join the martyrs
who have sacrificed everything
The world will be one step closer
to understanding
those who insult the name of God
and ignore his teaching
shall feel his wrath
Oh my brothers and sisters
grant me courage
as I walk into the school
Chant my name in the villages
smiling as you remember
the glorious moment of my death
and pray that I do not falter
on the road to paradise
and a bomb
hidden in my turban
Today I shall join the martyrs
who have sacrificed everything
The world will be one step closer
to understanding
those who insult the name of God
and ignore his teaching
shall feel his wrath
Oh my brothers and sisters
grant me courage
as I walk into the school
Chant my name in the villages
smiling as you remember
the glorious moment of my death
and pray that I do not falter
on the road to paradise
