Reflections on the water

It is not me drowning

But rather me reaching

My world is clearly visible

With a quick glance

But with further inspection

A universe exists below

While the surface seems flat and stationary

Naive may enter with expectations

To stay afloat

But the surface hides the lurking truth

And we drown
