Thoughts

is this what we live for?
the total loss of hope
and floods of disappointment
that's there to let you know
that you're not worth the space
you're not worth their time
you're not worth their effort
and it feels like a crime
to think these crazy things
that you would do for them
but its not a possibility
as we are nothing more than men.

and nothing hurts us more
than seeing our loved ones fade
and there's nothing you can do
but try and find a way
to get over all this pain
and start again from scratch
to show how strong you are
to get through this rough patch
that you thought would never end
but here we finally stand
letting go of what hurts us
to give out our hearts demand
