Checking Out

Have to learn to cut loose from this town
Los Angeles a city in heat
Where a good man's morals are compromised
And left bleeding in a cheap motel

There had to be a whore involved
Purring promises she'll never keep
But she knows me well enough to stay on top
Doing her famous cowgirl routine
Riding my rod until the thing goes off
But this time won't slow her down...

She leaves me spread-eagled on the bed
And relieves me of my stash
She opines that I look better dead
And drops the cards, preferring cash.
