Bedfellows
We sit on the porch
Just thinking, maybe,
Whiling away time
While dusk falls
Quickly over the cement.
You light up a pipe,
Just weed this time,
And draw in deep breaths
To keep you connected
To keep you calm
And I wait with penance
And deep, formidable regret
For the world
To end.
Just thinking, maybe,
Whiling away time
While dusk falls
Quickly over the cement.
You light up a pipe,
Just weed this time,
And draw in deep breaths
To keep you connected
To keep you calm
And I wait with penance
And deep, formidable regret
For the world
To end.
