Age Doesn't Matter
I was asked why I loved on him
Cuz they said he was old and thin
Hey i said it didn't matter
You gotta get rid of your mind chatter
Look at the person and feel his presence
Get close and listen to his sentence
Erotic thoughts come to play
Kisses are magic on lips to stay
Dance close and feel his embrace
His age gets washed away in his face
So I will continue to be open to others
Tall, short, young, old, they all give me pleasure

This poem really speaks to me! My boyfriend is 20 years older than me. He will turn 40 an I will be 20 this year.

True, age is nothing but a number most of my life I've experienced love with people that were older than me and younger ( only by 2 years difference though) and recently now I'm however with someone who's technically one year older than me.
I've also known many people who have been able to date/marry someone who was older and or younger than them and been able to make it work.
One great example is my parents, when they met my father was 50 years old and my mother was almost 30 and have been married 19 years and despite of everything they've been through they were able to stay together.
