Sillies
silly little bean
when did you stop believing dreams?
don't you know these things
are the seams to all lifes scenes
silly little fool
when did you become so cruel?
to think the secrets and the tools
were only yours to rule
silly little tart
how could you forget your heart?
and teach in schools the darkest art
untill we all forget our part
silly little me
for forgetting we're all kings
and not letting my soul sing
for ever trying to clip my wings,
but for forgetting that we flew
and that the words we speak come true
I'll hold you till the dark is thru
my silly little you
when did you stop believing dreams?
don't you know these things
are the seams to all lifes scenes
silly little fool
when did you become so cruel?
to think the secrets and the tools
were only yours to rule
silly little tart
how could you forget your heart?
and teach in schools the darkest art
untill we all forget our part
silly little me
for forgetting we're all kings
and not letting my soul sing
for ever trying to clip my wings,
but for forgetting that we flew
and that the words we speak come true
I'll hold you till the dark is thru
my silly little you
