The Vampire
yes I too want to merge with you
my most sacred essence yearning to be set free by you
spilling itself into your eager mouth
velvet crimson flesh soaking wet and swollen now wide open to your thirsty lips
then dripping hot and luscious all over your arousal
while straddling you and impaled on your aching raw hardness
as you carry me to heavenly ecstasy
until we both collapse moaning and cumming
did I mention my lucid dreams are in color
my erotic imagery instantly transmitting itself to you
you have me leaking with so much as a thought of you
and I know you are just as helpless
why are we bound this way
desperate wanting for the other
always looking for divine release from
this intoxicating prison of lust and desire
don't think I don't know who you are
shape-shifting into your many forms
I know the vampire now
and you my sweet lover are one
devouring women for breakfast insatiable and hungry
you think I too am your prey but you are wrong
it is you with the target on your back
I serve a different master
one who only knows the light
you might try to engulf me in your
manipulative and scheming ways again
for this is your nature
but this time I won't let you
still I want and need to cradle you in lust, love, and light
I see your soul and I can sense almost everything about you
we creatures of the light are privy to many secrets and have our ways
delicious wet desire ravishing you at night
wanting for me until you burst
going mad with desire and crying out in lust
desperately cumming into your sheets again and again[b]
seeing my face when you're with another lover
who do you think decided to make you have these thoughts
we will have our day
it may take eons of light years or many life times
but we will come together in light and in love
in fact we may already have

I enjoyed the way you mixed the sexual imagery of lust in with the feeling of distrust.
As far as going back and changing your poem, I personally think that is a good thing and improves your work.
I can’t say I really get the vampire thing but I did write one about a vampire and posted it here in the story poems. Of course, in story poems – very few reads. Erotica rules!

Thanks for commenting on my poem. Sounds like you enjoyed the read. As far as the vampire thing is concerned, it is really more of a metaphor of how you feel around certain people emotionally speaking. Especially the ones you're in love or lust with. Will try to read your vampire story as well.

I like the overall effect, the sensual parts are very intense and seductive. It does feel like two poems have been merged together, as two bodies or two souls become merged in the blending of thoughts and feelings. The first three stanzas and the last two could be a complete poem though it would leave me wanting more regardless. Of course it is always good to leave your readers wanting more, so they will come back like the vampire you desire. I'm not so much into vampires, but I do get the connection and think it works well here. You seem to want to convert to bloodsucking creature of the night into a being of your own design, but vampires have no choice, even when they fall in love they ultimately suck the life from the one they desire.
Thank you for your well thought out comment. You were being very observant by noticing how two different streams of thought have been merged together in this poem. Also you bring up an interesting point at the end; Can vampires ever be anything but vampires and do they have a choice in what they do? I for one believe that being a vampire doesn't have to be eternal. I have read in occult literature that the famous wooden stake in the heart is really a metaphor for infusing the vampire's heart with something alive and loving and thereby bringing him back from the undead to the land of the living. But then again maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part...

I come from Romania, famous country of vampires,story of Dracula from Transylvania...This poem scared me but i also enjoy it very much!Congratulation for it!

I too have a connection to transylavania in a way as a lot of my ancestors have czech or bohemian origins.....
I would probably re-write the part about being manipulative being that I have better insight into the origins of behaviors that appear a certain way.......
As with anything when u are able to step out of yourself love is a potentially powerful emotion that can have transformative powers for everyone involved....... :)
