All with my hands
I'll tear the whole world down,
brick by brick,
and move it all with my hands
till it fills all the pits,
of the empty in our hearts
and every part will fit,
and with my nails I will dig
a new foundation deep,
and require no sacrifice
and demand no sheep
our work will be the walls
with the mortar mixed with with blood
but it will only have spilled
by the work we have done,
and we will build no windows,
there will be no need
only open air holes
for us to feel the breeze
and our world will have no ceilings
save for the trees canopies
and we'll have no need for wires
the stars will light what we need,
but I can't build alone,
this world is not just for me
we can build this all together,
and we can rebuild this world free
brick by brick,
and move it all with my hands
till it fills all the pits,
of the empty in our hearts
and every part will fit,
and with my nails I will dig
a new foundation deep,
and require no sacrifice
and demand no sheep
our work will be the walls
with the mortar mixed with with blood
but it will only have spilled
by the work we have done,
and we will build no windows,
there will be no need
only open air holes
for us to feel the breeze
and our world will have no ceilings
save for the trees canopies
and we'll have no need for wires
the stars will light what we need,
but I can't build alone,
this world is not just for me
we can build this all together,
and we can rebuild this world free
