I know you are well educated in poetry, literature, the rhythm and rhyme of life.
I wish you well. In all your endeavors.
I am truly honored, you follow me now.
I will take this chance, and learn from you.
Thank You, Jade.

If I may, I'll address you as FM until you say imotherwise. But whatever you would have me call you, to me, you make the endeavor of wordsmith a most worthy one. I've been drawn to you from how I've seen you converse, your thoughts, your convictions, your support of others. It is I who felt honored when you started to follow me. If you are able to learn from me, then it's further vindication for me. And please know, I also hope to learn from you, dear woman.
Thank you for stopping by for a read of this humble piece which is part of a trip/journey that began in my recent poem "It's Happening!"
with respect & esteem

I love the simplicity of statement - so much said in so few words
his mental presence of me
fills the long stretch home
I love this particularly - long stretch home... just feels like the highway opening before us...
and I really appreciate the arc carried through from It's Happening through Origami Messengers to crane... and even Today's Gossip has that road trip feeling to it...
Jade you show such talent and skill in the elegant use of word choice and syllable assemblies...
I deeply appreciate the poetic accompaniment to my very long travels...

I've picked up white line fever on drives like that, but it's worth it if there's a lover at the end of the road. This short one says so much about the finest form of anticipation, love requited at the end of the day or very long haul.
"a highway's lone crane flying low
heading west to meet the sun before I wake"
Fine lines but a word of advice: Keep an eye out for the crowfly.

*smiles as she squints, peering up at the crow that whirls and twirls well above the road that disappears over the earth's curve at either horizon*
Aye dear crowfly.., white line fever runs through my veins.
And thank you!

The imagery of the low flying crane
is stunning - under the radar and on target.

This is fantastic. You have a real command of words. Cranes are to me a spiritual bird with great elegance.

Indeed they are, and thank you so much for your regard of my wordcraft, dear one, wherever it's embraced.
