The Violin (a tanka)
A woman's body
played by the taut bow
of man is only
half a being: missing from his
song is her own sense of self.
Inspired by Le Violon d'Ingres, by Man Ray (right)

Did you drop your violin?
Because there is a crack in it.

Favourite line - 'Played by the taut bow of man' - a new euphemism to me. I can imagine a few male bows tautening at the read.

Thank you sir, for stopping by, reading, and liking. Glad you think the bows of man will respond. Hopefully other parts too, like the one between the ears. LOL
