Cold Morning Air

I awoke to the cold morning air
Just to bury back underneath my covers
Closing my eyes in silence
I tried to remember
What it had felt like when we were together
Moments of cloud nine
If death was on my back I would of died for you
There was this rush
It came and went but when it was
For what seemed like forever
Somewhere hidden between the thoughts of lust
Maybe one could call it Love?
What ever it was I needed more
It was the cure to my lonely soul
The drug that I was craving for

A lovesick bind was then born
Like rain water to a gutter
We flowed to one another
Somehow washing away each other's pain
Such beauty is only found in circles
They are true and never ending
Infinitely time bending the power of two

I lay still my chest flat not taking a breath
Awake but i was somehow stuck
Caught enchanted in this reverie of us
Adventure dashing on the open road
Danger cast in the rear view
Escaping everything we once knew
Though it was calm on the way through
Our destination was unknown
