Medusa
She tortures souls with trinity
Around the dark of her humanity
Masking uncontrollable fear
To only peek her head up to kill (with a stare)
The men that dare marvel at her beauty
All emotions shut down,
when lifting the veil
Presenting the monster within
Chasing all that try away,
then weeping silently to herself (in the middle of the night)
Coming to (what she thinks is) the only conclusion
Withstand the hurt, never to be loved
Use passion for only sexual encounters
Feed the need then piss on the ashes
Yet still managing to make herself the victim
Hopeless and defeated by insanity
Only seeing love through a wineglass (while she drinks alone)
Envious yet never venturing
Saying goodbye to those that get too close
True love is turned to stone
Around the dark of her humanity
Masking uncontrollable fear
To only peek her head up to kill (with a stare)
The men that dare marvel at her beauty
All emotions shut down,
when lifting the veil
Presenting the monster within
Chasing all that try away,
then weeping silently to herself (in the middle of the night)
Coming to (what she thinks is) the only conclusion
Withstand the hurt, never to be loved
Use passion for only sexual encounters
Feed the need then piss on the ashes
Yet still managing to make herself the victim
Hopeless and defeated by insanity
Only seeing love through a wineglass (while she drinks alone)
Envious yet never venturing
Saying goodbye to those that get too close
True love is turned to stone
