"Do you like Sushi?"
I have spent more time than I care to admit,
looking for someone who's worth a shit,
but dice-like-snake-eyes,
roll me up double disapointment,
it's all ass and thighs,
substance none,
and non-between,
but I've found that the fear,
of being alone,
is much more manageable,
when it just aint true,
(ie when i'm with you)
I've learned that love is like a drug,
And before you moan,
"oh no,
not this cliche!"
It's not like that,
it's just that love is expensive,
it costs work and sighs,
tears and panic and worry,
self-conscious mochi kisses,
hits
misses,
and a crap-ton,
of awkward laughter.
But I'd happily,
laugh,
awkwardly with you,
till Hell comes to bring us home.
