Echoes  

Echoing quietly at first
As you pecked away at me bit by bit
You left me hollow inside
While outside I put up a golden front.

Ready to cave in now
Cracks begin to show
I still let you
The drive is gone from within.  

Once in a blue Moon I see light
It's just a flicker but I know it's there
I would have begged  had I known the words
But that was a long time ago when I cared.

Now all I see is broken People every where .
