For Today
Head down
Moving with the crowd
Thinking stupid thoughts
Home now bolt the Door
Sigh of relief from this tired Body
If I lay still enough and breathe very quietly
Will I still be here
If I think my mind blank lose all hopes and Dreams
Will I exist
Eyes closing
Letting go
Sleep be my respite tonight.

LOVE POEM

My Room my Prison
You entered to see the freak Show
But you brought sunlight
Stowed away in your beautiful brown Eyes
Your warmth made it ok
to let down my guard
You took in my nakedness
You embraced it
Wrapping me in a warm soft glow
You carried me to your safe place
Hot tears of joy
Not pain
As you kissed me
This time is ours
Ours alone
Nobody can intrude or partake
Each second lasting forever
Skin so soft
Hands so strong
Swaddled in contentment
I let go….
At last ...
But you brought sunlight

The Robin
Males and Females look identical, young Birds have no red Breast and are spotted with golden Brown. Robins sing nearly all year round and despite their cute appearance, they are aggressively territorial and are quick to drive away Intruders”.
I know a Robin red Breast.
A regular visitor to my Kitchen
much to my Cats delight
It feeds from my Plate
It comes in from the cold
It's presence a welcoming sight.
They say a Robin is a symbol
A symbol of a loved one close by
Keeping us safe and guarded
Just popping...

My Face so hard
Expression painted well
Body soft
Clothes immaculate
Lay me down gently

Thoughts for today
Acknowledge both bright and dark Days
And know which one to choose
Not hanging around too long in the Shadows
Letting it cloud your judgment and confuse
Falling asleep in the Gutter
But waking with the Sun on your Face
Silence in moderation
May be your saving grace .

Pebbles and more
Just pebbles
Walking barefoot on wet Sand
Your Hand placed gently in my own
Basking in memories of our lovemaking not yet two hours ago
Hair still wet from our Shower
Head full of Dreams and promise
You placed some pebbles in my Hand some Shells formed beautifully as if custom made
You promised me a Necklace
So I could wear them forever
Love filled my Soul for the very first time.
I almost said it aloud
But didn't.
You turned pebbles and Shells into Art
A gesture I wore so proudly
Each memory polished...

Hell Hath no fury....
You think you have seen me naked... my skin exposed
My Heart on my Sleeve
My soul laying in the hot Dust for all to feed upon?
You think you know me inside out
My every thought and Dream laying there for you to snigger and belittle
You think you have me all figured out and I am yours
owning my thoughts and taking them as your own like a true obsession.
Think again.
I had a plan.
......I outsmarted you regardless .
Never underestimate a woman scorn .

Just go....
Fading away before my very Eyes
Starved of day light and nutrition
Sitting in a corner screaming" just look at the state of me,
You made me like this ".
But I didn't.
She fades away into the distance
Out of my reach entirely .
Not even a Mother's love can save her now
She is alone and my Heart brakes.
The Tube feeds her Body
her Brain will never be fed again.
My beautiful Daughter.
Just an ugly memory now.

Nobody's Child
Standing behind this person of authority
unsure of what to do
Not knowing what he was doing here
Or why his Clothes smelt new
A Ward of Court
Was all he heard
The rest were taken together
He who had a slow position
Not wanted
They thought it better.
Looking down at shaking Hands
A pitiful sight to see
No mama to rare
Just this cross to bare
What a lonely old place to be
Nobody noticed his Tears of grief
Or that his Heart was broken
His loved one dead
Not a Word have they said
Not a...
unsure of what to do
Not knowing what he was doing here

Inspired by the Rain
Flushed Face cooled by it
New Shoes ruined by it
Courting spots damp by it
Yet cheered up by a Rainbow's end.
Tired Gardens brought alive by it
Millions of Tears disguised by it
Drifting along to sleep by it
Rain may you stay close by.....

Echoes
Echoing quietly at first
As you pecked away at me bit by bit
You left me hollow inside
While outside I put up a golden front.
Ready to cave in now
Cracks begin to show
I still let you
The drive is gone from within.
Once in a blue Moon I see light
It's just a flicker but I know it's there
I would have begged had I known the words
But that was a long time ago when I cared.
Now all I see is broken People every where .
