Listen to your heart ?

My skin so innocent[/font]
Silently pleads for adoration.[/font]
A kiss from its owner,[/font]
a comforting stroke similar to that of a hug.[/font]
A simple reminder, that everything�s okay.
[/font]
Sadly it is a rarity, for these actions to occur.[/font]

My hand so fragile shakes seemingly effortlessly.[/font]
Unsteady rhythmic beats of my heart,[/font]
put me into a state of disquiet.[/font]
Alone and vulnerable, I linger in the corner,
[/font]It�s my mind against my heart, and my heart is winning.[/font]
[/font]
Finding comfort in things beneficial is almost impossible for me.[/font]
[/font]
The battle for stability seems too difficult to fight.
Honesty isn�t a foundation when lies mask a dark secret.
[/font]To pray for the courage to fight strong for another day,
[/font]or to pray for the courage to press my blade down hard.[/font]
My mind may be telling me the best thing to do,[/font]
But I�ve always been a follower of my heart.[/font]
